Generation Atheist is a collaborative blog project created for young atheists, agnostics, sceptics, freethinkers and non-theists to come together and explore issues that affect their lives.
Everyone is welcome at Generation Atheist, and we encourage submissions from anyone who has something they want to say. GA isn’t about one person or a small group of people preaching at you. Instead, it’s about everyone getting involved and sharing their experiences and ideas about living life as a young non-theist. Although the word “atheist” is part of the title of this blog, all young people who are questioning or sceptical about a belief in God in any way are welcome here. Wherever you are on your journey away from religion, we want to hear from you.
It can seem daunting to voice your opinions about religion in the real word, especially if you live in a predominantly theistic community. Many young people think about setting up websites or blogs to get their voices heard, but it can be difficult to find something to write about regularly and to get traffic to your blog. The aim of Gerneration Atheist is for us all to come together and support each other by reading and commenting on each others’ work as well as finding out own voices. I hope you find this a valuable service.
